Your rehearsal can be as unique as your relationship there are just a few simple things you need to keep in mind such as who exactly needs to be there, who else to invite, when and where to have it and who's responsible for paying for it; but not to worry, we have all of the information!
- The Rehearsal Dinner is ALWAYS the afternoon or evening before your wedding day! The bridal party meets at the ceremony location and does a walk through of how the ceremony will go.
- Following the walk through is up to the bride and groom! You can pick a location for your dinner and festivities based upon your personal style; you can have a backyard BBQ, a formal dinner, a catered dinner or a wine tasting!
- Make sure the following people are present: all of the members off the wedding party as well as their dates, the flower girls and ring bearers as well as all of their parents, grandparents of the bride and groom, siblings of the bride and groom, the officiant and his or her spouse. The guests that are traveling from out-of-town should also be invited or if you're keeping the gathering smaller and intimate- have something else to entertain them!
- Keep it intimate with toasts from the parents of the bride and groom and give your gifts to your bridal party at this time. (At my sister's rehearsal dinner, she gave us all our matching jewelry to wear for her big day!) You could also put together a slideshow of all of the precious memories you've shared together before you begin to start a lifetime of new!
- And remember, eat, enjoy and be in love!
