This blog is close to my heart because I am currently writing this with a 102 fever...I have the flu! So it got me thinking, what are some preventive actions brides and grooms should take before their big day to avoid getting a cold. I had a little cough yesterday and now its a full blown mess! Here are a few suggestions I would consider adding into your life leading up to the big day!

1.Mom always right!
Wash your hands! Washing your hands is the most important thing of all. Bacteria and viruses are all around you want to share love with all your friends and family on your wedding day not germs.

2. Shots shots shots!
Ginger, turmeric, cayenne and oregano. Cold press the ginger and turmeric root. Then I add oregano essential oils and cayenne powder. This is what we like to call nature's medicine. All of these ingredients are immune-boosting. They heat up your body and flush out stagnant fluids.

3.Zzzzzz
SLEEP! Scientist have discovered that sleep plays a critical role in immune function.

4. Super food
To keep from getting sick in the first place...adding this soup to your diet may be good preventative medicine. Garlic, miso and greens are all super foods to help maintain and restore your body's immune system. What I like to point out most is RAW garlic as well if you are ever feeling even a little sniffle eat a raw clove of garlic before you go to sleep, your going to sweat out all the toxins and feel great in the morning!

5. Don't underestimate the power of food!
Make a good food decisions not only do you want to fit into your dress you don't want to be poisoning your body with fats and sugars that do nothing for you body . Fruits and veggies have all sorts of vitamins that help your immune system stay strong.
