HOT Trends for Spring!

We all know Spring is the start of wedding season. With every year changes so does the trends. These are some of this years hottest trends.

 Decor
Sequin linens! Having texture in your linens creates a dreamy fairytale look with a bit of glamor and depth. More natural materials more, like flowers tied to pieces of driftwood, wood rounds as centerpieces, moss and sand as vase fillers are also trending this year.

Flowers and Color Schemes
Mint and metallics are common requests for floral decor this spring.  For brides looking to go beyond the traditional veil and tiara, the floral crown is perfect.

Planning
Smaller more intimate weddings. Increasingly a lot of couples are cutting down their numbers and narrowing down their guests to the most important people in their lives and having more of a celebration of their love with an intimate gathering of their loved ones.

Catering
Many more couples are electing for family-style service this season than we have ever seen before. People respond to the casual and interactive nature of this style of service, since it forces people to talk to each other over dinner. Seasonal fruits and veggies, Global flair and food trucks.

Music
No matter what your age Retro ‘90s’ music is always fun and A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri will be the wedding processional song.

Hair and Makeup
Whether you’re growing out your hair for your big day or you have extensions mermaid waves are this years hottest trend. They are loose, beachy, undone waves that will make you look sexy and sophisticated. Vivid orange lips are in season, from electric orange to tangerine, to blood orange.

Dress
Ruffled hemlines and necklines, sheer sleeves, pleats, calf-covering full skirts and off the shoulder gowns are the couture looks for this spring.

Cake
Couples are opting for flowers that are whimsical and less realistic or Wedding cakes with texture, from a swirl that looks like a rose to a ruffle made in layers and even Naked cakes are going to be big this year. Also, simply decorated cakes with fresh flowers and fun banners, rather than formal cake toppers.
