Wedding Day Emergency Kit!

The old saying "better to be safe than sorry" applies to many situations in everyday life ESPECIALLY on your wedding day! Making sure you're prepared for crisis on your big day is extremely helpful along the way. We have all of the essentials you need to manage any behind the scenes bump-in-the-road. 

For the loose ends..

• You'll want to include two pair of scissors; one for the small threads peaking through and one for the larger ribbons you'll need to cut off.
• Safety pins are always a necessity. Whether your bow isn't sitting on your dress right, or your bridesmaid's strap is too loose, it'll pin right up!
• A travel size sewing kit with thread to match your wedding colors. You never know when your beading could come loose or a strap could start to pull.
• And you can never be too prepared so let's not forget the tweezers in case you have that one little hair left on your brow line! 

For the spills..

• A stain remover, Tide-to-go stick and/or a small bottle of Oxiclean because you never know how crazy your dressing room can get! The pre-wedding drinks are very possible to be spilt and let's not have you walking down the isle with a huge red wine stain on the bottom of your dress! 
• Q-tips for the minor details.
• Tissues for the "ugly crying" clean up! 

For the love of adhesives..

• You never know when or who might lose weight before your big day and now their dress doesn't fit around the top or sides, but not to worry, that's what fashion tape is for! Use it to stick your dress right to your skin and it won't go anywhere all night long!
• Is your beautiful tailor job coming apart in some spots? Hem tape will be the perfect quick fix for that. Place it directly on the spot that is unraveling and ta-da, no more loose hem! 
• And super glue, just because you never know what beads or last minute accessories might need glued back together!

For the back-ups..

• Rubbing alcohol can not only help with stains but also small rashes or blotches you might get with your pre-wedding jitters.
• Any over the counter travel size meds that you can add for the post-rehearsal-dinner hangover, or Tums for the nerves racking up in your stomach! 
• And tampons because you never know when Mother Nature can sneak up on you!
• Oh and don't forget a back-up phone charger for everyone that is telling family members, guests and vendors where to go!

For freshness..

• And before everyone leaves to walk down the isle, its never too late to pop in a few breath mints, floss your teeth, blot your face with baby wipes AND add the last minute deodorant before the night gets started! 

You can purchase all of these things in the travel isle at any drug store and you might want to think about making one for the grooms suite as well, they can run into a few emergencies too ;)
